Open Kodi 17.5 once, Then close it again properly by clicking the power button on the top right of kodi screen then clicking exit. (Open the browser on your android box and type in the above address in the address bar, this will download kodi 17.5, next you need to install it, go to your apps folder, open app installer app, click local and it will find the kodi 17.5 file you just downloaded, click on it to install) (Kodi will now be installed in your apps folder)
Download & Install Kodi 17.5 from here ( ) (You have now removed the old version of kodi) Uninstall Android TV Player or Kodi 16.1 from your box – On the box go to Settings – Apps – Click on either Android TV Player App or Kodi App – Click Uninstall Newer Box Owners or anyone with a box that has Android 5.1 or better As of this week 17th-Nov-2107 we’ll be no longer doing updates for the build for Kodi 16.1 (Android TV Player), what we’ve decided to do instead is to move to Kodi 17.5, while this suits people who bought a box within the last two years, anyone with a box older than two years or with less than Android 5 will not be able to use the new setup.
